Tina Turner's 50 year Career

Tina’s last concert tour was five years ago but her music and life story are unforgettable.   She first became popular with “The Ike and Tina Turner Revue” but her real success came after she went solo not just with her career but also with her marriage.  She had to after enduring too many years of physical abusive from Ike.  And this was during a period when spousal abuse was hushed over and not recognized as a crime.   Tina had the courage to walk out.  

So Tina introduced other leading men into her life….

 converted to Buddhism despite her strict Baptist upbringing.....
